Any monetary donation or canned goods get you in for a special shopping event. 100% of the donations and 10% of our sales will be donated to the Pelican Rapids Food Shelf. Now is the time to start thinking about gift giving. To a small business, the greatest gift we can receive is you shopping Local with us! In November, we will be giving out approximately 120 Thanksgiving food boxes similar to the items below including a meat choice. Each box costs approximately $30 each. Any monetary donation is welcome. They can be dropped off at the Pelican Rapids Food Shelf 28 W Mill St during open hours of Tuesdays 10 AM - 1 PM or at Brown Eyed Susans Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM. Checks can be made out to The Pelican Rapids Food Shelf with the memo line stating Holiday Boxes. Food Shelf Donation: Here are some of the foods we like to stock at the food shelf!
